Leadership at Gatehouse Satcom

Christophe Duret is Chief Executive Officer of Cobham Satcom and chairs the Gatehouse Satcom Board of Directors. He brings nearly three decades of international general management experience, most recently as President of HemoCue AB.

Hélène Cantet is a senior satellite and mobile telecom executive with more than 25 years of experience in 3GPP technologies and satellite-terrestrial networks. She serves as Chief Technology Officer and SVP R&D at Cobham Satcom.

Ebbe Faurschou is Associate Director on Solix Group's investment team, which he joined in 2021, and previously spent five years at McKinsey & Company. He serves as Board Member of Gatehouse Satcom and Board Observer of Cobham Satcom, and began his career as a Lieutenant and Platoon Commander in the Danish Army.

Petar Popovski is a Professor at Aalborg University, where he heads the Connectivity section. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, with research spanning wireless connectivity and communication theory.

Michael Bondo Andersen founded Gatehouse in 1992, growing it from a Nørresundby startup into an international satellite communications and maritime technology group. Since the 2025/26 Cobham Satcom merger, he focuses on Gatehouse Maritime, which operates independently of Gatehouse Satcom.

Jacob Axel Nielsen brings public-sector and commercial governance experience to the Board. A former Danish Minister for Transport and Energy and later for Health and Prevention, he now serves as Senior Advisor at Influenter and Chairman of CORE German Residential A/S.
