Gatehouse Satcom joins Space Connect North – uniting Denmark’s space industry for innovation

Gatehouse Satcom is proud to be a founding member of Space Connect North, a new industrial cluster dedicated to strengthening Denmark’s space and satellite communications sector. This initiative brings together industry leaders, academic institutions, and organizations to drive innovation, share knowledge, and build strategic partnerships. By uniting expertise across the space ecosystem, Space Connect North is set to accelerate Denmark’s position in the global space industry.

A Collaboration Between Industry and Academia

Space Connect North’s founding members include Aalborg University, Gatehouse Satcom, Sternula, GomSpace, Cobham Satcom, Necas, and Rohde & Schwarz Technology Center. Together, these organizations form a strong ecosystem of space and satellite technology, with expertise spanning satellite manufacturing, next-generation satellite communications, and advanced space testing.

Aalborg University brings cutting-edge research and talent development, aligning academic innovation with industry needs. Sternula is pioneering satellite-based maritime connectivity, GomSpace is a leader in nanosatellite manufacturing, and Cobham Satcom and Gatehouse Satcom provide proven satellite communication technologies. Necas and Rohde & Schwarz Technology Center contribute specialized electronics and advanced testing capabilities. Each member strengthens the cluster, creating an environment where collaboration fuels progress.
